RUGIPO HOLDS EXAM JUNE 13 AS ASUP WITHDRAWS MEMBERS SERVICES

The Staff Of Ondo State owned Polytechnic,Owo, under the aegis of academic Staff Union Of Polytechnic (ASUP),has made decision to avoid upcoming examinations in the institution inorder to pursue demands for payment of 13months of unpaid wages.


This was contained in a communique signed by the chairman of Union Comr. Arikawe and the Secretary of the union, Comr.Fapetu after the union congress held on yesterday Thursday.



According to the communique, ASUP members have also vowed not to partake in the examination which scheduled to commerces on June13th, 2023.

After much emphasis and extensive deliberation, the Congress unanimously agreed to withdraw the services of members from participating in the scheduled First Semester Examination Exercise which is proposed to commence on 13th June, 2023, until the condition below is met.


“We want the payment in full of all outstanding (13 Months) salary arrears owned the staff of the institution..


“The Congress wish to strongly emphasise that the decision above is binding on all the financial members of the union (ASUP)".
