 MAKINDE PRESENTS 74 SECURITY VEHICLES TO OYO POLICE, COMMISSIONS RECONSTRUCTED OJOO POLICE STATION


The Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has presented 74 security vehicles to the State Police Command and also commissioned the newly-reconstrcuted Ojoo Police station razed by the EndSARS protesters in year 2020.


Speaking at the programme, Governor Seyi Makinde pledged that the present administration in the state would continue to support the efforts of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies in order to reduce crime to barest minimum.

The Governor also commended the frantic efforts of the Nigeria Police and other security agents, pledging that the victims of the EndSARS protests would be duly compensated in accordance with the recommendation of the EndSARS Judicial Panel of enquiry.


The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Adebowale Williams, appreciated the good gesture of the Governor towards the Police and implored residents of the benefiting community, especially youths to see the newly-reconstructed police structure as theirs.
