Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has disclosed what some people did to him during the saddest period of his life. Adeboye disclosed that some people laughed at him when he was in the saddest period of his life.   Chief of Defence Staff, Lucky Irabor, on Tuesday said those behind the Owo attack have been arrested. Irabor stated this during a meeting with media executives in Abuja on Tuesday Irabo said, the suspects would be paraded after  deep investigation has been concluded into the matter.  “We have arrested those behind the dastardly act in Owo “It was my intention to present them to the Genaral public, but because of the investigation still going on, I had to change my mind",Irabo said.

Akeredolu Celebrates Ondo-Born Wrestler Adekuoroye

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, has congratulated Ondo State-born Olympian and Nigerian Wrestling Star, Odunayo Adekuoroye, for winning Gold for the country in the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Adekuoroye, on Friday defeated her rival Anshu Malik of India to win Gold in the Women’s 57kg Freestyle Wrestling. Akeredolu hailed the Commonwealth champion for her resilience and courage even under intense pressure. ASUU Extends its roll-over Strike Action Four weeks

  The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has extended its over five months rollover strike by another four weeks  President of ASUU, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, who announced in a statement on Monday in Abuja, said the one-month extension will take effect from Monday, 1st August 2022.   Emmanuel who said following extensive deliberations and taking cognisance of the Government’s past failures to abide by its own timelines in addressing issues raised in the 2020 FGN/ASUU Memorandum of Action (MOA), NEC resolved that the strike be rolled over for four weeks to give Federal Government more time to resolve all the outstanding issues.
